Kananaskis Trip Reports

Coire Dubh Integrale – III WI3 5.7

Location: Kananaskis

Elevation Gain (m): 600m of climbing

Total Time: 8.00 Hours

Difficulty: WI3 5.7 III 600m

Cell reception: Reliable

Rating: 5/5. Average rock quality but an amazing mini alpine route. Relatively easy ice, snow, and rock combine for an awesome day!

Notes: The whole route can be spotted from the Trans Canada Highway, check before you go that the rock is dry and the ice is still good. Avalanches can still occur as the slopes will hold a lot of snow in places, people have reported up to size 3 avalanches here. Route finding can be hard, but hopefully there will be a well traveled path to follow.
